Langley Village Dental came into existence in the year 2012 with a team of qualified and compassionate professionals. Our state-of-the-art dental clinic caters to multiple aspects of dentistry. Read about our team to get detailed information about the professionals who will be treating you.
Dr. Ming Ho received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to dentistry, Dr. Ho completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at UBC and worked as a community pharmacist for two years. Although those two years were rewarding and provided valuable learning opportunities, Dr. Ho yearned for a more fulfilling role in healthcare that combined the need for technical precision with a high degree of challenge and variety. This is what led him toward dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Ho worked in an underserved community in Northern BC, which provided him with a great deal of clinical experience. This opportunity allowed him to experience the effects of the various social determinants of health and learn novel ways to support marginalized communities. Dr. Ho has completed the Maxi-course, which is a one-year program focusing on the placement of implants. He is also an Invisalign® provider and a proud member of the AACA. Dr. Ho enjoys all areas of dentistry and is a compassionate dentist who upholds the key principles of patient autonomy and patient care. He believes that patient education is extremely important for the prevention of oral health diseases. During his spare time, Dr. Ho likes to go on hikes and play badminton.
Dr. Sungwon Kim received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia. After graduating, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she was able to experience the full spectrum of general dental practice. She is happy to be back in her home in beautiful British Columbia now.
Dr. Kim enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and focuses on providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment for all her patients. Dr. Kim enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including the pediatric population! To stay updated on current technologies and treatments, Dr. Kim participates in various continuing education programs to continue to expand and refine her skills.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim likes to stay active and explore the great outdoors that BC has to offer. She loves to try new restaurants, play with her nieces, and go wine tasting.
Dear Patients and Friends,
After 10 years of building this practice with you all, and after many discussions with my family, I feel it is time to move on as the owner of Langley Village Dental. I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your trust, loyalty and friendship. When I started this practice, I did not think it would grow and become what it is today. And it's all due to the wonderful staff, patients and friends that I have had to great opportunity to work with.
The new owners, Dr. Sara Kim and Dr. Ming Ho, promise to carry on the high quality and wonderful patient care that you have come to enjoy at Langley Village Dental. They are highly trained and you can ensure that they will provide top notch treatment while giving you the comfort and respect you deserve. You will be in great hands.
Although I will no longer be the owner, I will continue in a limited role providing dental care for the near future. Along with Dr. Kim and Dr. Ho, we will strive to make your experience here comfortable, caring and as stress-free as possible while still providing high quality dental care.
Again, I would like thank each and everyone of you for making these past 10 years so great and amazing. The friendships and connections I have made have been both incredible and humbling. I wish you all the best in life and hope to cross paths with you again.
With much thanks,

Roopi loves to travel to tropical destinations. She also likes to sketch during her free time, which is rare as of late. Spending time with her family whenever possible is something she enjoys but she can also be known as a homebody. Her main priority and joy is her 2 years-old daughter, Serene. She keeps her busy most of the time. This has limited her ability to be healthy. She currently works part-time and loves her career as an RDH.
Sam graduated in 2020 from a 3-year advanced diploma dental hygiene program based in Sudbury, Ontario. In his spare time, he enjoys all things outdoors, including camping, fishing, and going on hikes with his golden retriever, Phoebe. He has been a Canucks fan ever since he can remember, and he would consider himself a fairly big movie buff (Back to the Future being his all-time favourite). He has been at Langley Village Dental since November 2020 and has enjoyed his time getting to know his coworkers, as well as the clients.
Dayna has worked in the dental industry for over 20 years, both as a receptionist and as a Certified Dental Assistant. When not at work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, spending days at the beach, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Born and raised in Montreal, Susan moved to Vancouver 30 years ago. Working as a Dental Assistant on both coasts fostered a lifelong love of dentistry. Changing careers mid-life, she became a professional baker for 12 years. Missing dentistry, she retrained in dental administration and has been working as a receptionist for the past 7 years. She feels privileged to work with such a caring and dedicated team at Langley Village Dental. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and hanging out with her sweet fluffball of a dog, Tundra.
